ASID Maryland Field trip to York Wall Coverings!
Studio, Archive, Manufacturing Facility Tours & Lunch

Join us as ASID Maryland visits America's oldest and largest wallpaper manufacturer. York has been manufacturing wallcoverings since 1895 in its original location in the York, PA.  We will have the opportunity to tour the studio and archives, tour the manufacturing facility- see roller and screen printing and other new and old techniques visit the additional printing building to see the digital printing, gravure printing and larger commercial printing. The group will be split for the tours and meet back together for lunch, (lunch provided by York!) and discussion with York designers, the head of the design studio, Ron Redding and perhaps even Carl Vizzi, York Wall President.  They will be asking for your imput on current designs, what designers need in the market place, and how York can help you.
